The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) has created a new series of videos entitled “Backstretch Buzz” set to launch today.

The series will highlight jockeys and trainers as they share their thoughts on topical events, news stories and some of the current issues concerning thoroughbred racing.

The first installment in the series discusses cold weather training with trainers Glenn DiSanto, Bruce Brown and David Donk while the next video debates apprentice vs. journeyman riders with trainers Rick Schosberg, Mike Hushion and Leah Gyarmati, jockey Maylan Studart and jockey agent Al Dellape.

The “Backstretch Buzz” videos can be viewed by online at www.nyra.com/backstretchbuzz.

The “Backstretch Buzz” videos join “Spotlight Series,” a behind the scenes look at the people who help NYRA racing operate smoothly on a consistent basis, “Jockey Video Cards,” up-close-and-personal interviews with NYRA’s leading jockeys, and “On the Record,” candid conversations with some of New York’s most renowned trainers, as the latest in popular on-demand videos available on NYRA.com.
